Sydney's Australian Museum is situated in the Central Business District (CBD) of Sydney and is one of the oldest museums in the whole of Australia. This dynamic and impressive natural history museum was established just 40 years after Sydney was colonised and offers a vast collection of Australian wildlife exhibits, Aboriginal artefacts, dinosaur skeletons, numerous interactive displays, a popular gift shop and restaurant area. Other ttractions of particular interest for children at the Australian Museum include dinosaur and evolution displays, historic Aboriginal exhibits, geology collections and there are a number of children's activities during the holidays, including dressing-up.
